Tax course on offer for Clovis business owners

September 16, 2017 by

IRS tax codes can sometimes seem like they are a whole other language, but a Clovis area workshop will seek to make them a whole lot easier to understand from a small business perspective.

During the Business Owner’s Tax Course, the facilitators will cover an assortment of topics that can help enterprises keep on top of their taxes. Participants will learn how to use QuickBooks, pay tax liability, manage payroll, build business credit, and incorporate their company.

Along with all of this, they will also learn tips about how they can make the most of the tax credits and other deductions that may be available to them. The 60 hours of classes will run over a period of 10 weeks, and no previous experience is needed to participate.

The instruction is being offered on a free-of-charge basis. However, the students will be required to pay a book fee to help offset the cost of their instructional materials. The course has been approved by the California Tax Education Council, and will be facilitated by a member of MKG Tax Consultants. A print company will be able to supply custom designed manuals and other items for educational event such as this.

The classes will begin on September 30, and will take place at 3003 N. Blackstone Avenue in Fresno. More details, as well as a chance to register, can be found on the MKG Enterprise Corp. website.
