Clovis set to host celebration of its trail system

February 6, 2018 by

Trail Fest, which has been planned as an event that will bring Clovis residents and the local trail system together, will be held this May, and everyone is welcome to come and join in the fun.

This community event, which is being offered free of charge, is open to anyone who wants to learn more about Old Town and Dry Creek trails. Those who are interested can join in at any point along these routes, and they are welcome to run, walk, or roll in a wheelchair, or on a bike or scooter.

Signs will be set up that will point the way to demonstrations, entertainment, snacks, and other activities, and 20 different stations will be set up. These will be family friendly and suitable for all ages to visit. A printer can provide a variety of branded items, such as promotional pens, clothing, and other swag to give away during an event like this.

The organizers have put out a call for any companies or organization’s that would be interested in acting as a vendor during this community celebration. More information can be obtained by getting in touch with Shonna Halterman at shonnah@cityofclovis.com.

March 5 will serve as the date for this day of community-based outdoor fun. The Visit Clovis website can be consulted by anyone who would like to find out more.
