A Memorial Day celebration has been planned for the Charlotte area, and everyone has been invited to join in the excitement of the occasion.

The Mint Hill Madness festival will be returning for its 34th year, and according to its organizers, they have planned for it to be bigger and better than ever. Young and old alike can enjoy the carnival rides that will be set up for the weekend, and there will also be games of skill and chance, food served up boardwalk style, a vendor area with crafts and other sellers, live entertainment, and more for the public to browse throw and enjoy. The artisan tent, where the public can visit and watch local artists at work will be back, and admission will be free of charge.

The bands booked to play during the festival include Blue Monday, Satisfaction, and Da Throwback Band. A banner printer will be able to design and then produce customized banners and other exciting decorations for a community based event such as this.

The festival has been scheduled for June 26 to the 28 in Mint Hill Veterans Memorial Park, and there is plenty of onsite parking available for those who come in their vehicle. Everyone is welcome to participate, and additional details about Mint Hill Madness have been added to the Charlotte’s Got a Lot website.
