Charlotte set to show its sweet side

September 5, 2017 by

Charlotte treat lovers have been issued an invitation that will give them a chance to help local kids while indulging their sweet tooth to their hearts’ content.

Charlotte Dance Marathon is hosting its second annual Sweets Showcase, and it has something for every taste. Cupcakes, cake pops, cookies, and more sourced from 20 different area bakeries will be on offer, and guests will be able to enjoy as many as they like.

Each person who purchases a ticket will receive a to-go box so that they can take some of the goodies home along with them. A print company can supply custom labels for treat boxes, as well as a wide range of other promotional products for use during an activity like this.

This event is being held by its organizers as a fundraiser for the Levine Children’s Hospital, and all of the proceeds from the day will be going directly to this charity. The monies raised will be utilized to purchase equipment for patient care, and also to fund various activities and programs the facility administers. Each ticket entitles the bearer to one sample, and they start at $10 for a pack of 10. Donations to the hospital will also be most welcome.

The day will be bringing a little bit of sweetness to Charlotte and will take place in the UNC Charlotte Center City on September 30. Additional details can be found on its event listing.
