Day of fun on the way for Cedar Park

March 13, 2017 by

Cedar Park will soon be the site of a pair of special family friendly events taking place on the same day.

The community will be holding its annual Heritage Festival, and everyone is invited to come out and get in on the fun. There will be pony rides, face painting, a petting zoo, carnival style rides and games, bouncy castles, and sack races. A kids’ rodeo has also been included in the agenda for the day, as has live music.

Families are welcome to bring along a picnic lunch and also blankets or lawn chairs to sit on while they enjoy a bite to eat. Those planning the event have asked the public to not bring glass containers with them, and they are also reminded that additional parking has been made available at ACC, CPMS, and CPHS for anyone who needs it.

A part of this year’s festival will be the Chamber of Commerce’s BBQ Cook Off. The public is invited to come and cheer on their favorites as they vie for the championship title. Graphic design can be utilized to craft special customized award designs for the winners of the competition.

Both events will be held on April 1 in Milburn Park in Cedar Park. Admission to the festival is free, and additional details about both this and the BBQ Cook Off have been made available on the community’s website.
