Cedar Park to host Harlem Globetrotters

May 4, 2018 by

The Harlem Globetrotters have been touring the world for 91 years, and in the summer of 2018, they will be making a stop in Cedar Park.

The basketball team, which blends sports skills with comedy and other entertainment, will be displaying its talents in a show billed as being fun for all ages. It was noted that they have added a new component to their show, which they have dubbed the ‘Flying Globies’.

The team will feature the talents of both male and female players, and their nemesis, the Washington Generals, will be back after a two-year break. The rivalry is all in good fun, and the team’s charity of choice is The American Red Cross. A company that produces corporate gifts can both design and craft items that can be sold or given away as mementos of an event like this.

Those who purchase a regular ticket to attend the game will also be able to buy a Magic Pass, which will allow them a special opportunity to meet the players on the court, get photos and autographs, and learn how to do some of the ball tricks they will see in the game.

The Harlem Globetrotters will be playing the Washington Generals in Cedar Park’s H-E-B Center on July 13. The doors will open at 5:30 pm for Magic Pass Holders, and the main event will start at 7:00 pm. The venue’s website includes more information and a link to purchase tickets.
