Carlsbad kids to get a head start on New Year’s Eve

December 11, 2017 by

During a special event, Carlsbad kids and parents alike will have a chance to ring in the New Year without having to stay up until midnight to do it.

LEGOLAND California Resort will be hosting a full day of festivities that will greet 2018 a few hours ahead of the rest of the local area. The fun will last throughout New Year’s Eve, and will include performances from a variety of entertainers.

Inspired by the celebrations that are held each December 31 in New York’s Times Square, LEGOLAND will stage its own version of the famous ball drop. Its version will see a huge Lego brick drop 22 feet as the crowd counts down to 2018. Along with all of this, a fireworks show that will bid a fond farewell to 2017 is on the agenda, and it has been scheduled for 6:00 pm.

Each child who comes to the event will receive their own party hat and glasses to help them view the fireworks. A printer can supply promotional products such as these, along with other “swag” for use during this type of event.

This family friendly goodbye to 2017 and hello to 2018 will be taking place in Carlsbad on December 31. Tickets and more information can both be found on the LEGOLAND website.
