Canton welcomes Burntwood Tavern

December 4, 2016 by

Burntwood Tavern, a chain of restaurants in northeast Ohio, opened its ninth area location in Canton recently.

The eatery is located near Belden Village, a busy shopping area, at 4320 Everhard Road, NW, in Canton. Like the other establishments in the chain, this location features a jagged stone exterior, while inside patrons will an iconic bar with a copper top, wood-burning fireplaces, and glass lighting fixtures that are hand-blown. The interior is finished with woods for a rustic look.

The tavern has a capacity of 200, and is taking over the site previously operated as a Max & Erma’s. Burntwood has an indoor-outdoor patio area and bar, and is close to a number of stores in the mall.

The location in Belden Village opens daily at 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. On the weekends, patrons are invited to enjoy a ‘Make-Your-Own Bloody Mary’ bar. On Thursdays and Fridays, the restaurants feature live music.

Burntwood Tavern is part of the Chef Art Pour Restaurant Group, which is based in Chagrin Falls. There are taverns in Chagrin Falls as well as Fairlawn, Crocker Park, Lyndhurst, Cuyahoga Falls, Brecksville, Solon, Rocky River, and now Canton.

Such establishments can benefit by working with leaflet printing companies, which can create items for distribution at the site during the opening days. They can include coupons to encourage people to try the new place.
