The arrival of spring also means the arrival of Little League to local communities. In Tustin, Utt Middle School is the site for little league games offered by Tustin Eastern Little League (TELL).

Registration is going now for all levels and for ages four and up. Prices range from $50 for the disabled to $265 for the season for juniors ages 13 – 14. Utt Middle School is located at 13601 Browning Avenue, Tustin.

Millions of children around the world play baseball each year with the ultimate goal of making it to the Little League World Series. Baseball teaches kids discipline and how to work together as a team. Team members also have to learn strategy, tactics, and motivation.
Games start on February 23, with the season ending on June 1.

Another matter for ticket and promotional flyer printing is the Tustin-Santa Ana Rotary Club’s annual Sweetheart luncheon at noon on Thursday, February 14. Sign-ups will be taken Monday – Friday at the Senior Serve Lunch. For more information, call (714) 573-3340. There will also be live entertainment.

Tustin residents can also clean out their garages and make a little extra cash at the annual Community Yard Sale, which will be held this year on Saturday, April 20, in Old Town Tustin at the Senior Center.

Vendor applications are being accepted and there are discounted prices for those who apply before March 1. For more information on the sale, call Reyna at (714) 573-3321.
