The South Beach area is planning for an upcoming hump day filled with entertainment and fun in the sun. Residents of the community will be gathering at the Seaside Lagoon, located about four miles northwest of Torrance, to celebrate the birthday of the country, the pride of the community, and the fellowship of family and friends from 2:00 pm till 9:00 pm on the Fourth of July.

The day will be packed with activity for the entire family to enjoy. Kids will be able to safely swim in the warm waters of the lagoon, as lifeguards will be on duty. They can also receive paddleboard lessons if they desire. The entertainment continues as there will be a puppet show by the world famous Jim Gamble and energetic kids who like to physically challenge themselves and others will be able to compete on a 56-foot inflatable obstacle course. They will also be able to participate in a parade and several arts and crafts events.

A portion of the proceeds from beverages sold at the event will be donated to support a good cause, namely Talk About Curing Autism (TACA). As a reminder, the organization can invest in banner printing which is relevant for the occasion, yet highlights their efforts.

In addition to the live band performances and the delicious food and beverages, the evening will be capped off with a spectacular fireworks display which is synced to moving patriotic tunes broadcasted live on FM 93.1.

Participants should be aware that shuttle services may be delayed due to heavy traffic at the conclusion of the event.
