Skynny Kitchen to open in Studio City

A new restaurant called the Skynny Kitchen is set to open its doors next month in Studio City.

The new eatery will be located in the NoHo Arts District at 5166 Lankershim Boulevard in the building that was formerly occupied by Soul Dog, owned by Otis Jackson. An exact opening date has not yet been set, but plans are to begin serving the public in April.

The Skynny Kitchen and other new restaurants and businesses that open up in Studio City and the surrounding area are likely to need various printing services as they work to make a name for themselves at their new locations. Grand opening ceremonies and promotions often require banner printing. Flyer printing, poster printing, and other such advertising methods are also likely to be used in the weeks prior to opening day.

A Panini-pressed bison wrap is just one of the many exciting items to be available under the options for dishes consisting of less than 500 calories on the menu. Matt Flinn, who is the owner of the new restaurant, said:

“Bison is actually leaner than turkey, but you still get kind of a beef flavor from it.”

Flinn, who has previously been employed as a cooking instructor and a private chef, reported that he wanted to provide the community with a dining option that offered a creative alternative to fast food. He said that he set out with the desire to create a restaurant in which hungry locals could grab a delicious and healthy meal quickly.
