Volleyball registration now open in Sorrento Valley

February 28, 2013 by

Living in the Sorrento Valley within the San Diego region certainly has its perks, particularly for those who love beach activities and want to stay physically fit. VAVi Beach Volleyball offers registration for upcoming leagues beginning in March. The coed leagues offer two levels: Social Beach Volleyball and Competitive Beach Volleyball.

The beach volleyball leagues offer two games weekly, on the beach of course. Playoffs will take place during the eighth week. Happy hour specials are offered after the games, and championship prizes and bobble heads will be awarded.

A beginner class for those just starting out playing beach volleyball is scheduled for March 24 and will include five sessions held on Sundays from 10:00 am until noon. Students will learn the sport rules and how to service, bump, pass, spike, set, dig, and block.

For those players feeling they are ready to move to a more advanced level, intermediate classes are offered beginning the same date and will focus on enhancing skills related to setting, hitting, passing, serving, receiving, and positioning. Instructors will discuss strategy involved in improving techniques.

Sports companies often use printing companies to prepare their marketing kits, which generally include services like flyer printing as well as business card printing. Flyers are used to promote the facilities and programs available and can easily be distributed from many strategic points. Business cards are used by company representatives as they attend meetings, sales appointments, and networking events.

Registration is on a first come first serve basis and space is limited. The VAVi website has complete information and registration options available.
