Arty families welcome to drop in at Kidseum

Just in time for Christmas, an artistically cultural enrichment experience will come to Santa Ana, sponsored by the Kidseum’s Art Lab.

The ‘Drop-In Family Art Inventions are hands-on workshops designed for children ages four and up. This is a great family event, with both parents and grandparents also invited to attend and enjoy the artistic expression of the children involved.

During this fun and exciting new art lab, children will use innovative and creative techniques to create truly unique art projects. There will be a discovery phase, so children can learn about various crafts and art forms from a number of countries around the world.

Each week a selection of new techniques and a wide variety of materials will be used to create the projects. Instruction is provided by the Kidseum’s well-known artists and children are bound to become immersed in the learning experience.

Getting underway on December 15, face painting is available on Saturdays and Sundays, although times vary. On Saturday, December 16, St. Nick will be in residence, so children are invited to bring their Christmas list along and, while they wait their turn, enjoy the film ‘The Grinch Who Stole Christmas’.

Poster printing and flyer printing were probably used to advertise and promote this fun activity to members of this community and the surrounding area. Admission is $6 per person and museum members and children under two are free.

The Drop-In Family Art Inventions will be happening every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday starting on December 15 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Bowers Kidseum in Santa Ana, California.
