Holiday House to be presented by San Diego Association of Realtors

During the first week of December, the San Diego Association of Realtors will hold its 2nd annual Holiday House.

The event is held to benefit local charities, with Homefront San Diego being one of them. A beautiful home currently on the market, The Driftwood in Olde Del Mar, has been chosen to host the event. Attendees are asked to bring a gift or donate money upon arrival, with a special request if donating to Homefront to specify on the check to ensure proceeds are distributed appropriately.

Other local charities supported by this event include The Angel’s Depot, Second Chance, YWCA’s Becky’s House, and Feeding America. Donations of cash, household goods, toys, and food help the community’s children, homeless, senior citizens, and military personnel.

Often, an organization sponsoring a charity fundraiser will utilize local printing companies for printing required materials to host and manage the event. Postcard printing is an economical tool to use as postcards containing information about the event can be mailed or distributed in advance. Postage for postcard mailing is less than standard mail, so it presents an optimal solution for marketing an event on limited funds. Postcards are generally printed in full color on the front side, with the back used for mailing labels and limited content.

The Holiday House is looking for volunteers to assist with the event, as well as market it. Reservations are recommended to attend the event as space is limited.
