Friends of Balboa Park Annual Awards scheduled

The Friends of Balboa Park Annual Awards Luncheon will take place at Balboa Park Club in San Diego in under a week’s time and will give public recognition to volunteers leading the many efforts within the community.

Individuals and organizations working in areas for the betterment of the park will be considered for the Millennium Award. Honorees this year include House of Pacific Relations/Internations Cottages, Inc, and Patrons of the Prado. Peers also have the opportunity to nominate individual volunteers for consideration of the Inspiration awards.

Tickets for this fundraiser are on sale now. The event includes a reception and a luncheon catered by the Prado. A raffle will be held to assist with the fundraising and there will also be speakers at the event.

Organizers of fundraising events often work with local print companies for promotional materials. Flyer printing is a common request as flyers can be distributed from many different locations. They can be printed on one or both sides, in full color or black and white, and contain all of the pertinent information to merchandise an event. Catalog printing is also a normal feature for fundraising events like this, where tickets are sold and a program is planned.

Tickets, priced at $70 each of £500 if booking a table of eight, may be purchased online by visiting the event website or may be ordered by phone by calling the Balboa Park Club. The event is scheduled for next Tuesday, October 30.
