Popular craft fair to make holiday stop near San Bernardino

A well-established artisans’ fair is making its way into the San Bernardino area just in time for the holidays.

At the start of next month, the Harvest Festival Original Art and Craft Show will be arriving at the Fairplex in Pomona. Catalog printing may be on the uptick as participating vendors prepare to inform more potential customers about the handmade goods they have to offer.

This festival has a long history in the western region of the country and is now in its 41st year. It has already made stops in a number of locations this fall, including Las Vegas, Sacramento, the San Francisco Bay Area, and San Diego County.

Hundreds of vendors will be manning booths at the event, as they sell jewelry, photographs, paintings, and ceramics. In total, an estimated 24,000 items will be available for purchase.

Attendees will also be able to sample unique snacks and treats, enjoy live music, and enter several raffle drawings. The most valuable prize will be a ring and bracelet set featuring diamonds, orange sapphires, and mother-of-pearl.

Children will find age-appropriate entertainment in a separate area of their own, in which they will have a chance to make crafts and play games.

The Art and Craft Show will run from Friday, December 6 through Sunday, December 8. It will be open from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm on the Friday, from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm on the Saturday, and from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm on the Sunday.

The Pomona Fairplex is located at 1101 West McKinley Avenue.
