Business workshops highlight end of June

With two business workshops coming up towards the end of the month, members of San Bernardino’s professional community stand to gain quite a bit simply by keeping an eye on the dates.

The first of these events is going by the title “Marketing Outside of the Box” and will be taking place on the 25th. With the event starting in the evening at 6:00 pm and ending two hours later at 8:00 pm, attendees are encouraged to arrive at the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship (IECE) Business Resource Center with an open mind. While there are plenty of administrations that won’t hesitate to use printing services like banner printing, flyer printing, or even stationery printing when the situation fits, many teams would be surprised at the number of lower cost strategies that are available to them.

“Marketing Outside of the Box” will address a number of subjects that include online marketing, PR, referral advertising, and available professional tools among other things. Priced at just $20 for people who register ahead of time and $25 for those who come at the door, this is a solid opportunity to pick up a wealth of valuable information.

Interestingly enough, the activity doesn’t end there for the IECE Business Resource Center this month. Just three days after the marketing workshop on the 25th, “The ABC’s of Starting Your Own Business” is being held on the 28th. This time around, the conversation will be geared towards the logistics of becoming an entrepreneur. Sitting at $10 for those who sign up online beforehand and $15 for walk-ins, this is another option for local professionals.
