Consumer Showcase lets local businesses market themselves

Once again the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce has outdone itself with the hosting of the recently held Consumer Showcase. While some chapters might have taken a break after the success of the Showcase, members of the local business community will also have the option of attending a meet-up in early June.

From 11:00 am until 6:00 pm on May 20, the Stoneridge Shopping Center was busy with the Consumer Showcase being held for the better part of the day. With table booths available to both members and non-members of the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce, business professionals and entrepreneurs were given room to advertize their products and services.

By virtue of the sheer numbers and the fact that people were being encouraged to use this as an opportunity to raise the profiles of local and nearby firms, it’s also safe to say that the printing services of different print companies were likely needed ahead of this one. For both the exhibitors and the prospective customers stopping by to see what was happening, there’s no question that this was a productive event.

Interestingly enough, the activity won’t be ending there for local businesspeople. According to the chamber website, a Networking Mixer is due to be held on June 13. With the trendy Wente Vineyards providing a top-notch venue, this is as good a chance as any to gain new professional contacts. Free for members and sitting at a price of $25 for guests, the cost is certainly within reason. Going from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, the timeframe is rather convenient as well.
