Chamber August Mixer marks important anniversary

With the Pleasant Hill Community Foundation hosting ‘Party in the Park’ to commemorate its 25th Anniversary and a leadership workshop being hosted later on, professionals in all fields have at least a couple of events coming up before August ends.

Out of these two occasions, the closest is the August Mixer being held on Thursday, August 24, at the Pleasant Hill Aquatic Park. Having been appropriately dubbed ‘Party in the Park’, it is clear to see that business owners from a broad range of industries will have something to gain by putting in an appearance here. According to the flyer, food, drinks, and a live performance by the Maharlika Cultural Trope are all going to be playing a part in helping the Chamber celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Pleasant Hill Community Foundation.

Starting at 5:30 pm and wrapping up at around 7:30 pm, there will be plenty of time here for business professionals to interact with one another while enjoying the plans that have been made for the evening. Even just a small order of business card printing will go a long way during this meet-up.

Five days later, on August 29, there will be a workshop called ‘Developing Exceptional Leaders Within Your Organization’ taking place in nearby Walnut Creek. Also being hosted after regular business hours with a start time of 5:30 pm, this session has been put together with the intention of helping managers and decision-makers learn more about how to best spot and nurture potential, with an eye towards developing talent internally.

Whether networking or acquiring information, these are two meet-ups to consider.
