Paint Your Heart Out to sweep the area in the spring

‘Paint Your Heart Out’ is planning to paint the town again this spring in Placentia and surrounding areas. The volunteer organization is dedicated to assisting those who either are unable to afford upkeep on their homes or are unable to do it themselves by performing these and other task around the home.

Paint Your Heart Out is currently searching for community volunteers who are willing and able to assist in the repair and painting of homes of the elderly, low-income, veterans and disabled who are unable to afford or perform the upkeep. Homes in Placentia, Orange, Anaheim, Yorba, Linda, and Santa Ana will receive repairs, maintenance, and painting. Once enough volunteers in the community have signed up, a meeting will take place sometime around the middle of March to assign various homes in the area to different team captains, make appointments, and review safety procedures and protocols.

Non-profit organizations and other volunteer efforts in the area might use printing services provided by local printing companies to get word out within the community about a specific volunteer effort, fundraiser, or other drive. Flyer printing or poster printing might be utilized in this manner to draw the attention of possible volunteers and encourage participation of community members.

Paint Your Heart Out is currently looking to develop a number of teams consisting of 20 to 25 volunteers each to be sent out to complete maintenance, make repairs, and paint approximately five to seven homes in Placentia, Orange, and Anaheim on April 27 and 28. Community members interested in volunteering, as well as qualifying homeowners, should call 714-970-1150.
