Club calls for clothes and other items

September 21, 2012 by

With proceeds used to keep the Booster Club alive, locals are being asked drop off any used clothing they can spare at The Norco High School Band Booster Club Used Clothing Drive Fundraiser.

The Booster Club welcomes any unwanted items that have been gently used, such as toys, household items, textiles, linens, bikes, accessories, purses, shoes, clothing, stuffed animals, or anything else they might be able to sell to raise funds to keep the club going. Electronic items that plug in or run on batteries will be accepted as well.

Unfortunately, the Booster Club cannot accept air conditioners, light bulbs, alkaline batteries, light bulbs, dishwashers, or washers and dryers. This event was organized by the Norco High Band Booster Club working as a partnership with Cash 4 Used Clothing – an online charity. The Booster Club asks that all items are delivered to the high school as soon as possible and are left in the band room. For those who cannot make it before the event, please deliver your items to the school’s south parking area on the day of the event between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm.

Poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to notify the residents of the community about this special, free-to-attend fundraising initiative. The Booster Club’s final ‘drop off’ day for this drive is tomorrow, September 22, between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm at Norco High School, south parking lot, located at 2065 Tecumseh Avenue in Norco, California. For information, please visit the Norco High School website or call the school office at 877-866-3909 during normal school hours.
