Napa Valley residents enjoy romance on wine train

This month, Napa residents have a chance to climb aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train for delicious food, romance, and beautiful scenery.

Depending on the package, couples will have a choice of wines, some at an extra cost, and be served a freshly prepared meal using sustainable and humanely raised ingredients. Guests can choose to reserve seats on the Vista Dome or the Gourmet Express. There are also winery tours available during Valentine’s Day weekend.

Couples present will be given a padlock, called a ‘Love Lock,’ adorned with their names, initials, or something else special. The lock can be attached to the small foot bridge fence at the train station. Then, the key can be kept or tossed into the depths below.

On February 14, there will be a lunch and dinner train for the Valentine’s Day event. On February 15, there will only be a dinner train. The lunch train departs at 11:30 am and returns at 2:30 pm, while the dinner train is from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. During the dinner trains, a strolling violinist will serenade the guests.
