With the Napa Chamber of Commerce hosting another information-filled Wake Up Your Business Wednesday event, as well as a Mixer almost immediately afterwards, local business professionals have plenty on their plates this month. Whether hoping to network or to glean useful advice, local entrepreneurs are getting their options in the coming weeks.

It all kicks off on Wednesday, June 20 with Wake Up Your Business Wednesday hosting “How to Use Your Smart Phone to Gain Revenue.” Working with the Napa Valley College Small Business Development Center for this presentation, the Chamber is offering local entrepreneurs a wonderful opportunity to find out how they can better use available technology to increase their website conversion rates. While there are obviously no doubts left about the potency of the Internet and resources such as digital business cards, even the most carefully planned site will have trouble converting a visitor who is viewing with a smart phone.

In this presentation, attendees will be able to hear first-hand how to customize their websites and profiles so that even the growing subset of Internet surfer who browses via phone can get behind the company. Starting fairly early at 7:30 am, this two-hour workshop is going to feature a ton of helpful content.

The following day, on June 21, the chamber will be hosting a Mixer. Taking place at the Bank of Martin this time around, these networking events are noted for the way in which they attract people from throughout Napa Valley. Those interested in attending this one will want to come with plenty of business cards.
