Get ready for the Napa Valley Community Awards

Napa business professionals have at least a couple of events to choose from over the next few weeks, with the Napa Valley Community Awards coming up, along with the city hosting a Tech Policy Summit a little bit later on.

The action starts on May 24th with the “6th Annual Napa Valley Community Awards”. It goes without saying that there are a lot of people who contribute towards making Napa an excellent place to live and, in an effort to acknowledge the work that these individuals put in, Mechanics Bank and the Napa Chamber Foundation have been sponsoring the Community Awards event for the past few years. Going from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, the timing certainly couldn’t be more convenient for busy professionals.

Featuring six award categories (Nonprofit Employee, Community Booster, Hospitality Professional, Napa Valley College Student, Nonprofit Organization, and Healthcare Professional), this is as good a chance as any to show some support for those who have distinguished themselves this year. If the copies available on the chamber website indicate anything, it’s that brochure printers have likely been working ahead in preparation for the event. To that end, it can’t be a bad idea for local entrepreneurs and business professionals to make plans for the Awards luncheon.

Just over a week after the Community Awards, there will also be a Tech Policy Summit. Taking place over the course of two days from June 6th – 7th, this event looks to discuss the relationship between government and innovation. Interested individuals are advised to register before May 18 for a discount.
