Picnic at the Plaza has another Thursday feast

September 7, 2012 by

The food trucks at Picnic at the Plaza yesterday, September 5 included Tamarindo, Bakery Truck, Chunk N Chip, Rancho A Go Go, Fresh Fries, Sexy Burger, Dos Chinos, and Viking Truck. It was the most recent in a regular Thursday night series in Los Alamitos, in which citizens in and around the community gather in the parking lot of the US Bank for the Picnic at the Plaza.

Every week, food trucks serving the area offer a wide variety of food and drinks to those in attendance. The Picnic in the Plaza starts every Thursday evening at 5:00 pm at 10942 Pine Street.

The St. Isidore Historic Plaza is located just adjacent to the Food truck fair and features a beer and wine garden where a variety of beverages are offered. Those in attendance can listen to live entertainment under the stars while enjoying their dinner. All proceeds from the sale of drinks at the beer and wine garden go to support the ‘St. Isidore Historical Plaza—Save this Landmark’ fund.

Community events such as the Picnic in the Plaza often use flyer printing and poster printing to advertise the event. Banner printing may also be used at such events to draw attention to a specific area. Businesses that are a part of community events such as this may also benefit from business card printing, making their cards available to those in attendance.

The food trucks taking part in the Picnic at the Plaza may vary from week to week, though there are typically anywhere from 10 to 12 trucks offering a combination of foods for a variety of tastes. Residents can expect more of the mouthwatering same next Thursday, September 12.
