Belly dancing set to cause a ripple next month

The Third Annual ‘A Taste of Belly Dance: Los Angeles’ festival is scheduled for January and is expected to attract attendees and participants from neighboring communities and counties, including Los Alamitos.

Belly dancing has become a popular activity over recent years and many clubs and organizations are now dedicated to the art. The festival will bring together artists, educators, and entrepreneurs sharing the common interest in belly dancing, and the diverse community it has spawned.

The event will take place on January 18 at Smoky Hollow Studies, a short commute from Los Alamitos. Set in a 5,400 square foot industrial warehouse, the studio offers a great venue for comfortable dancing. It is surrounded in a rustic setting with cinder block, windows framed in metal allowing natural light in.

Flyer printing is a frequent project for local print companies for festivals of this type. Flyers can be printed using digital printing technology effectively and affordably. There is no set quantity required, so small or large orders can be processed. It is important to communicate events far enough in advance to stimulate interest and increase attendance.

The third Annual ‘A Taste of Belly Dance’ festival will begin at 10:00 am and end at 8:00 pm on Saturday, January 14. Parking is available on site. Volunteers are needed and will receive the benefit of free admission to the festival. Standard ticket prices are $12 per person and can be purchased via the event website.
