Long Beach Chamber to finish month with seminar and mixer

March 19, 2012 by

With the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce hosting both a networking mixer and a seminar over the course of the next few days, local entrepreneurs have the option of plugging into the business community both as attendees and as sponsors.

Coming up later this week is the Business Networking Mixer being held on the 21st. Taking place at the Wine Crush and expected to go from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm, the scheduling is convenient and the light refreshments are sure to be worth it. Complete with wine samples and an opportunity to meet with other businesspeople, this has all the hallmarks of a productive evening with attendees being encouraged to bring a fair amount of business card printing.

Free for members and costing a reasonable $15 for non-members, this an excellent chance to mingle with other successful professionals.

A little over a week after the first event takes place, the chamber will be hosting a seminar “Leading the Ethical Organization” March 29th. Starting really early at 7:30 am and ending before noon at around 11:00 am, there’s plenty of information to be gleaned from what the University of Southern California’s Director of Athletics, Pat Haden.

Going beyond that, however, businesses have an opportunity to do some self-promoting by becoming sponsors. With event tables going to those who provide financial support, businesses can gain some fast exposure with the help of local brochure printers. Since many of these packages can be had at good prices, it’s another option to consider.
