Sure to tickle one or two ribs, comedian Pablo Francisco will appear at the Improv Comedy Club in Irvine next week

The popular Francisco recently premiered his comedy special ‘They Put it Out There’ on Comedy Central. His most recent special was filmed at the Margaret A. Webb Theater located in Santa Ana.

Francisco’s style can be sampled from April 11 – 14. Visit the Improv website or call (949) 854-5455 for more information. Admission is $22 – $25 and the club is located at 71 Fortune Drive in Irvine.

After a little comedy, locals can join in the City Challenge Urban Race in Huntington Beach at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 13. The race begins at the Huntington Beach Beer Company and Restaurant.

This is an unusual race because competitors have to solve clues, puzzles, and riddles in order to find 12 different destinations. Each race is based on the history and landmarks of the city in which it is held. There will by a 5K, a half marathon, and the urban race.

Courses are designed with ease of running in mind and as little traffic as possible. This race was chosen by Coca Cola as one of the world’s top 10 fun runs. The 5K is able to be walked, jogged, or run in a few hours. The Ultra course, meanwhile, is designed for serious runners.

For more information call (714) 960-5343. All runners need to fill out registration forms and a local printing company is a great place to start for ideas for original forms or preprinted designs.
