Irvine to host green Saturday market

June 28, 2012 by

On Saturday, July 14, the Orange Country Green Market will celebrate its re-opening. Located at Irvine Valley College in Parking Lot 4, 5500 Irvine Center Drive in Irvine, California, this market runs 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, regardless of rain or shine.

The Orange County Green Market is reopening this date as a miniture eco-festival and will be traveling to a number of locations throughout Orange County. The Orange County Green Market is still partnering with the Great Park Farmers Market, however, on the third Sunday of each month to introduce a small group of green vendors, called Green Row, who will be educating the public and selling their wares. Education and selling by these vendors entails promoting eco-friendly products.

At the Orange County Green Market, guests will find only top-quality products and vendors. All the goods sold at this market are eco-friendly, natural, organic, recycled, renewable, and sourced from sustainable or repurposed materials. There will also be services at this market that are natural, holistic, and eco-friendly. Non-profit organizations may represent holistic living, alternative health, animal welfare, sustainability, wildlife and environmental protection, conservation, and other green initiatives. Natural foods are planned for the future as and when the resources become available.

Flyer printing and poster printing may have been used to promote the market reopening. Admission is free. This is an outdoor market, so guests are reminded to dress appropriately and remember their sunscreen and sunglasses.
