Digital business cards, business card printing, and maybe even postcard printing are just some of the printing services Irvine-based professionals may want to look into this month, with workshops on social media and networking mixers all being held in August.

The month started off quickly with the first event taking place yesterday, August 9. Going by the title “CEO of Me: Branding Your Career in the Global Economy”, this evening meet-up was centered primarily around how professionals can use online platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn to promote their brands and find more career opportunities. Beginning at 6:00 pm and concluding at 7:30 pm, there were clear benefits to attending.

Not too far from now, the Irvine Chamber will be hosting an After Hours Mixer through the Emerging Professionals on August 15. Set at a cost of $10 for members and $20 for guests, the fees are certainly within reason for businesspeople looking to acquire some extra professional contacts. Going from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, this is an event to consider.

Interestingly enough, the discussion on social media continues with Emerging Professionals hosting a ‘Lunch & Learn’ get-together. This particular presentation has been promoted under the catchy title of ‘Get Linked In to LinkedIn’. Starting at 11:30 am on August 22, this is sure to be a thoroughly informative workshop.

The month ends on a high note with Network Orange County being held on August 30. Going from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, residents cannot go wrong giving this one a try either.
