Business professionals will learn how to inspire their coworkers at a seminar coming up this week at Aia Orange County, 4100 Birch Street, Suite 300 in Newport Beach; just a 25-minute ride away from Dana Point.

The session begins at noon on Tuesday, October 22, and will teach participants how to use visual communication to project a story and deliver team communication. It will be led by Shimahara Illustration.

Attendees should bring their own brown bag lunch, and be aware that check-in is at 11:40 am.

Locals can also join the Girls Inc. of Orange County organization for an afternoon of fun and food at the annual 2013 Girls Inc. fundraising luncheon, which will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, October 24, at the Island Hotel, 690 Newport Center Drive in Newport Beach.

A live and silent auction, plus entertainment, are all included with admission for this organization which provides program scholarships for girls and inspires them to be smart, strong and bold. For more information call Elizabeth McCann at (714) 597-8610.

Further boldness can be exploited by learning how to start a practice at the seminar on Thursday at Lutron Experience Center, 2458 Dupont Drive in Irvine.

Beginning at 4:00 pm, this seminar will instruct participants on the legal ramifications of starting their own practice including hiring staff and negotiating service agreements. It will be led by Murtaugh Meyer Nelson Treglia LLP, Attorneys at Law.

Registration is only $20 for members and $40 for nonmembers. Scheduled speakers include Michelle Berger, Michelle Generaux, and Earleen Thomas.

After the season, entrepreneurs can consider using postcard printing to stay in touch with clients.
