True Romance in the air for May

The movie ‘True Romance’ came out 20 years ago and those who loved the movie can enjoy a unique experience here in Burbank in a couple of months, as a festival honoring the film will be held on Burbank’s own Safari Inn.

This site was chosen, according to the official press release, because it was where a memorable scene between three of the main actors was shot. Hosting the event will be Bronson Pinchot, who was also a cast member (Elliot Blitzer) in the Quentin Tarantino film.

On the first day of the festival, the agenda includes an opportunity to relax by the pool for VIP attendees, followed by a drink mixer with special guests in the evening. The day’s activities conclude with a True Romance style karaoke. The second day starts off with a big breakfast, followed by a meet-and-greet with the Pinchot. After dark, there will be an outdoor screening of ‘True Romance’.

Guests are encouraged to dress the part of their favorite character and a costume contest will be held. After the screening, there will be question-and-answer session with the cast and crew. Slots are limited, and hotel and VIP packages went on sale February 3.

Scheduled for May 2 and 3, banner printing can work well for advertising this type of event, creating a sense of urgency and excitement. It works to not only promote the event, but the venue as well.
