Burbank residents welcome One Direction

As members of boy band One Direction recently arrived at Burbank TV studios, they were welcomed by hoards of screaming fans, indicating their official acceptance in the US. Since competing on the UK X Factor in 2010, the boys have shot to fame with a succession of hits.

One Direction was due to attend a television appearance with well-known comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and was travelling to Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank, California. The band had a hit in the US charts in 2011 with single Up All Night. The five boys – Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Harry Stiles, arrived at the studios in an Escalade, with Harry looking shocked as he saw the fans by the entrance gates. Female fans and one male were stood with signs held up to greet the band, screaming in delight as the car transported One Direction through the gates.

Since the band has found success, the boys have made some changes, including some of them being inked. The day before the scheduled visit to the TV studios, Louis and Zayn were spotted going into the Shamrock Tattoo parlor, which is said to be a favorite of David Beckham. Both boys had their right arms tattooed, although it isn’t clear what the tattoos represent. Harry is also said to have had tattoos done, revealing one on each arm and on his upper chest.

It would not be surprising if a local printing company had been utilized to promote the appearance of One Direction in Burbank California.
