Celebrate Fathers Day at festival

For anyone seeking to do something a little different this year to celebrate Father’s Day, residents of Anaheim can make a 17-mile drive south and celebrate the Taste of Orange County festival, taking place this weekend on Saturday, June 16 and continuing on Sunday, at the Verizon Wireless Ampitheater. The festival is expected to attract approximately 20,000 visitors, as it is Southern California’s premier culinary event.

The festival is viewed as a lifestyle event involving the collaboration of some of the best chefs and restaurants Orange County has to offer. Participants will sample and celebrate the wines, beers, cocktails, foods, arts, and music of the community. There will be over 40 wineries and 50 restaurants taking part in the two-day event, as well as over 20 micro-breweries offering their unique beers for attendees to taste. Since the event is set to attract such a large fraction of the community, participating wineries and restaurants could further advertise to the masses by investing in poster printing and business card printing.

The event is also going to feature cooking demonstrations by widely known chefs, such as Chef Jamie Gwen, who may be either heard on the radio or seen on television. Those attending will also have the opportunity to partake in a wine auction and seminars rendered by some of the best rated vintners in the whole world.

Throughout the fun-filled festival weekend, there will be entertainment and musical events for the entire family to enjoy. Tickets for general admission may be purchased for $40.
