February 16, 2017 by

Butler will be celebrating Kids Day America with a series of activities that will give local youth a chance to have fun while raising funds that will help others in the area.

Those who participate will be able to take part in everything from hayrides to an obstacle course, concerts, slides, pony rides, and many other activities. There will even a be a special showing of vehicles dubbed ‘Cruza for Kids’, where they can vote on their favorite entry. It will be family friendly, and parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend the day with their children. The goal is to raise awareness of issues that can affect young people, such as their safety, health, and the environment. Banners and other decorations can be provided for an event like this by a printer.

Funds raised will be donated to Specialty Outreach Services, which supplies young people with safe workplace environments.

The organizers of the event are looking for a limited number of vendors that offer products or services directly related to children’s health, the environment and safety issues. Those who are interested in taking advantage of the opportunity to showcase what they have offer the public are invited to contact Dawn Surkosky at info@carechiro.com for further details.

The event will take place on the Butler Farm Show Grounds, which are located at 625 Evan City Road on May 13. Additional details can be found on the Butler County website.
