Boulder invited to shred and stuff in support of area teens

August 6, 2017 by

Shredding personal and business documents is an easy way to dispose of sensitive information, and a Boulder area event will combine this service with helping local teens.

Each household that comes to the Thrivent Financial-Flatirons Group parking lot, which can be found at 864 W. South Boulder Road in Louisville, will be able to have up to three bags or boxes of documents shredded by a professional service. After they have dropped off their paperwork to be destroyed, they will be able to linger over a cup of espresso and other breakfast fare, which will be provided free of charge.

Those who come out for this free event are welcome to “pay it forward’ by lending a helping hand to the teens at Attention Homes and assist in stuffing gift bags that will be distributed to them. All of the items included will be supplied by Thrivent Community-Flatirons as part of its efforts to support the community it serves. Everyone is welcome to participate, and a local printer can supply banners and other materials to help raise the public’s awareness about an event like this.

September 23 has been selected as the date for this function, and those who are interested in participating are asked to register ahead of time. More details, as well as an opportunity to sign up, can be obtained by contacting the organizer through its website.
