The Best Graduate Schools 2019, a guide produced by the U.S. News and World Report, was recently released and Rossin College in Bethlehem fared well among the doctoral degree programs offered by U.S. colleges and universities.

Rosin College of Engineering, a part of Lehigh University, came in 61st out of 199 participants surveyed by the magazine. Moreover, out of 93 schools, Rossin College ranked No. 46 among Best Online Graduate Engineering Programs.

Broken down by specialty, including engineering doctoral programs, Rossin was ranked in the top 60% for electrical, chemical and computer engineering, and the top 33% for materials and mechanical engineering. Where the school really shined, however, was in civil and industrial engineering, where it came in near the top 16%.

Printing services can offer valuable advice on the best way to include promotional information and no doubt these results will find their way into Rossin College’s promotional materials.

The method used to rank the schools engineering graduate programs takes into account a variety of factors such as acceptance rate, peer assessment, and student-faculty ratio. Department heads within each engineering specialty provided a peer assessment of other schools with a doctoral program in the same specialty using a five-point scale.

Ranking was limited to schools attaining an assessment of a 2.0 or higher average from peers.
