Two upcoming galas to benefit local charities

The city of Bellingham is hosting two fundraising galas next month that will benefit a couple of important local charities.

The first event will be the 9th annual Autism Awareness Auction and Dinner, and will raise funds for FACES Northwest, which provides services to Whatcom County. The theme of the gala will be ‘Shanghai Nights’. The evening will start off with a cocktail reception with champagne, beer, wine, and appetizers. Next will be dinner, dancing and a silent auction.

Later on in the month, the 3rd annual gala for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Whatcom County is taking place. This year’s theme is ‘Inspire Higher Dreams’. Guests will enter the event over a red carpet. Once inside, they will be served a meal and then participate in the live auction to be hosted by Jay Fiske. There will also be an after-party.

Bellingham printing companies are often asked to provide invitations or tickets for events such as these.

The Autism Awareness Auction and Dinner will be held at the Bellingham Golf and Country Club on April 1 from 5:30 to 9:00 PM. Tickets are $75. Call 360-389-2151 to learn more.

The Boys and Girls Clubs Gala will take place at the Silver Reef Event Center on April 28 from 5:30 to 9:00 pm. Tickets are $140 until April 1 and $150 after. For more information, call 360-738-3808.
