Bellerose in gear for annual festival

The Meadows Music and Arts Festival 2017 will be coming to our area next month.

The three-day event will showcase musical genres ranging from rock, to rap and hip-hop. This will be the second year for the event, and the festival organizers expect to draw thousands of music fans to its lineup of over 50 artists and groups who originated from the area on four stages.

The event will have performances by artists and groups such as Jay Z, Gorillaz, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and LL Cool J. There will be satellite areas for viewing the shows as well as tickets to the four stages viewing areas.

Over 40 artists who hail from New York will also be presenting their work. Food vendors from local restaurants and eateries that specialize in Nepalese, Colombian, Mexican, Thai, and other ethnic cuisine such as will be on the site.

Water stations will offer free water to attendees. This will be premium water that has passed thorough cutting-edge filtration systems. Bellerose guests are encouraged to bring their own plastic water bottles.

Plenty of promotional products, from T-shirts, sweatshirts, pullovers, and jackets, to sunglasses, hats, and logo-emblazoned water bottles are on sale at the event website.

The festival will run from September 15 until 17 in Citi Field, 126th Street and Roosevelt Avenue, in Queens.
