Winter wine walk to return to downtown Baraboo

September 6, 2017 by

This November, Baraboo will once again be playing host to a function that will combine wine tasting with a showcase of everything its downtown merchants have to offer.

During the Baraboo Wine Walk and Shop, the public will be invited to enjoy a leisurely shopping experience, and at each stop they will be offered a sample of two different wines. There will also be an assortment of small bitesize dishes and other treats, and each participant will receive a tasting glass for the tour, as well as a wine glass ring and wristband to let the different businesses know they have purchased tickets for the event.

Those who take part in the walk will also be given a notebook and map so they can visit as many stops as they wish and make notes as they go. A booklet printing company will be able to supply items such as these. The wines they sample will be available for purchase at Bekah Kate’s. The event is open to those who are age 21 and over, and as those who plan on participating are advised to come dressed comfortably, wear good walking shoes, and bring their proof of age ID.

The Winer Baraboo Wine Walk will be held on November 17, and more information and a chance to buy tickets can be found on its Facebook listing.
