Winter Wine Walk time comes round again in Baraboo

September 2, 2016 by

The winter holiday season is fast approaching, and Downtown Baraboo is ready to celebrate.

To help kick things of, the community’s downtown will be hosting a Winter Wine Walk. The public is invited to stroll through shops, which will be all decked out for the occasion, with some offering samples of snacks, wine and more. There will be entertainment to enjoy while browsing, providing a chance for people to get their holiday shopping started early. Each participant will receive a special glass and wineglass ring that has been prepared for the occasion. Custom drinkware like this can be produced by a print company.

The event has been organized by Downtown Baraboo Inc., which is an organization that operates on a not-for-profit basis to raise funds for the beautification and promotion of the downtown core.

Tickets for the Winter Wine Walk will be available at Bekah Kates, which is located at 117 3rd Street, and they will also be sold online. The price has been set at $30 each, and there will be a limit of four per person. The event will take place on November 18, starting at 6:00 pm, and those who will be taking part are welcome to begin their walk at any of the participating shops.

Further details about the walk can be found on the Downtown Baraboo website.
