Upcoming Baraboo event focuses on good joint health

April 10, 2017 by

Knee or hip pain affects many people, and an event in Baraboo will give area residents who suffer from this issue tips and tools they can use to help feel better, and keep themselves going strong.

An information session has been organized where attendees will have a chance to learn about various treatment options that can help to improve their quality of life and allow them to engage in the activities they enjoy. They will discover the possible source of their discomfort, self-care options that they can do at home, and also the medical choices available if the suggested steps are not adequate for coping with the pain.

Lifestyle choices and how they contribute to a person’s overall joint health will also be discussed, and people will have an opportunity to ask questions to an orthopedic surgeon directly.

The evening has been organized by the SSM Health Dean Medical Group. Presentation folders, filled with brochures and other educational materials, are often handed out during a function such as this.

The information session will take place on May 9 in the Ringling Room in the lower level of 707 14th Street in Baraboo. Anyone who would like to register to participate in this free event, or who simply wants additional information, is invited to visit the organizer’s website.
