Two developers have released plans for the construction of a pair of towers to be built in Austin. The towers will be built on the southeastern and southwestern edge of the downtown area.

Due to the luxury of these towers, it is likely that the property owners have worked with a local print company to create brochures featuring the many amenities to which the residents will have access.

70 Rainey will be a condo building that will reach 34 stories high. The building was designed by Page Architects and will include luxury condos for its residents. The building is expected to open in the fall of 2018 and will include 164 units.

The tower will have views of Lady Bird Lake and will also feature an exclusive 20,000 square foot outdoor area, which will have an outdoor kitchen, pool, fire pit, and yoga area. Residents will also have access to the herb garden and dog park.

The second tower, The Independent, will have 370 units. The tower already has contracts on 55% of its residences in the tower. At a height of 58 stories, the tower is slated to be the tallest residential building west of the Mississippi River. Its unique design has caused it to be nicknamed after the Jenga game. The units will be selling for prices ranging from just under $500K to over $3m.
