Restaurant owners opening new location in Windsor Park

Former owners of Henri’s, Andy Means and Jessie Katz, have announced they will open a new location in Austin’s Windsor Park neighborhood.

Henri’s closed in 2016 due to a fire and, although they will not rule out the eatery reopening, Means and Katz have decided to focus on a new restaurant and location for the time being.

As with any new business, Means and Katz are likely working on a variety of items, such as the menu, logo design, and layout of the new restaurant, which is yet to be publicly named.

The former restaurant was known for its wine and cheese selection, burgers and sandwiches. The new restaurant many have some of the former favorites and will function as a restaurant, bar and coffee shop. Noticing an absence of family friendly restaurants in the area, the owners chose Windsor Park as a location that would fit their visions.

The new location will be open for all three meals and will include brunch on the weekend. The menu will provide a variety of other items, including salads, pasta, and pastries. They will also have a section for children on the menu. The bar will be a full service bar offering liquors along with wine and beer.

Another bonus will be a drive-thru for to-go orders and plenty of parking for those wishing to dine inside or on the planned outdoor patio. The restaurant is being designed by Claire Zinnecker Design and Ben May Design.

The new restaurant is slated to open early in 2018 and will be located at 58911 Berkman Drive.
