Richmond sees business-minded start to 2014

December 6, 2013 by

The RVA Collaborates forum is returning to the area in January. It is a presentation of the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce and the Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence.

The forum features a luncheon with an as yet unnamed keynote speaker, along with guests Tom Silvestri and Katy Graziano. One discussion will be how such a collaboration has worked in Denver with former Centennial, Colorado mayor Randy Pye.

The event will finish off with a reception which will allow attendees to network with their peers and to make connections for future collaborations. There will be plenty of chances to exchange business cards and for everyone to talk about their business or non-profit challenges. With that in mind, it is likely that several of the attendees will be investing in a new business card printing order in advance, and will no doubt want to insure all their contact information is current and correct.

It is likely that the forum will be widely promoted to business leaders and non-profit organizations in the Richmond area. This might involve using posters and flyers ordered from local printing companies, which will then be distributed through methods like direct mail.

RVA Collaborates is taking place at the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen on January 30 from 11:30 am – 6:00 pm. Tickets are $95 until January 9 and $125 after. Sponsors can purchase a table of 10 for $1,500, or pay $750 for a table of five. To learn more about the forum, contact Christy McCurdy at 804-783-9379.
