Cool sounds return to the Norfolk waterfront this summer

The 36th annual Norfolk Waterfront Jazz Festival is taking place in the city for two days late next month.

The festival is set to feature some of the top jazz and R&B acts in the United States. This year’s performers include Norman Brown, Boney James, Marcus Anderson, David Benoit, and Marc Antoine. In addition, the Dave Koz and Friends Summer Horns Tour will be making an appearance.

There will be a festival marketplace that will be selling all manner of items including arts and crafts, artist souvenirs, and general retail merchandise. Food and drink will also be available for purchase.

Various VIP options are available such as the New Journal and Guide VIP Club where guests will have preferential seating as well as private areas. The cost of VIP tickets is $200 for two days.

General admission tickets cost $30 per day or $50 for two days, and $40 for reserved seating or $70 for both days. Boat docking is also available for $50 in advance or $75 on the day of the event.
