The 2nd annual Women’s Leadership Forum of the Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce will take place at Capital One Bank Headquarters on May 21 from 10 am-2 pm. Tickets are $85 for chamber members and $100 for non-members. Lunch will be included in the price of the ticket and there will be the chance for networking before the keynote speaker.

The theme of this year’s forum is “The Next Chapter.” The keynote speaker will be Caroline Adams Miller. Invited speakers for the forum include Rebecca Shambaugh, Dee Taylor-Jolle, Barbara Comstock, Edward Jones, Watkins Meegan and representatives of the Inova Health System. There will be panel discussions and question and answer sessions.

Women business leaders experience certain challenges that their male counterparts don’t always face. It is important that they form alliances with one another to help each other along the way. The Leadership Forum is a perfect networking opportunity that will help them grow their businesses and their referral networks. McLean printing companies can help them to connect with one another by providing business card printing , brochure printing and other marketing products. There will be plenty of time between speakers at the Women’s Leadership Forum for those in attendance to exchange business cards and to discuss what their business can do to help other businesses.

There are also sponsorship opportunities for local businesses available for the forum. Those sponsors will be mentioned at the forum and most likely in the program booklet. The inaugural Women’s Leadership Forum was quite a success so there is no doubt this will also be a popular and successful event.
