October 23, 2017 by

Parkridge Center will be hosting its first annual Fall Festival early in November. This will be a free one-day event celebrating the fall season and is intended for all ages.

Live blue grass music will be provided by Gallatin Canyon during the afternoon. A petting zoo will have sheep, horses, goats, and llamas that guests can feed. Carnival Games will have Fall and Halloween themes. Some of these will include pumpkin-themed mini-golf, bean bag toss using candy corn, pumpkin hoopla, a Coke bottle toss, and a witches’ brew frame game. Each participant will receive a small prize. A bar will be passing out cider and seasonal treats such as cinnamon sticks and ginger snaps.

Arts and crafts stations will be set up for children to make birdfeeders and decorate pumpkins. Kids can also get their faces painted and glitter tattoos compliments of local artists.

Traditional fall activities such as bobbing for apples will become competitions that will have gift cards from Parkridge Center stores as prizes.

Businesses at Parkridge Center will be passing out shopping guide flyers, coupons, promotional products, and the like to introduce the Holiday Shopping Season.

The Parkridge Fall Festival will be at Parkridge Center, 11106 Bulloch Drive, Manassas. The fun will be November 4 starting at 11:00 am and continuing until 4:00 pm.
