Popular Taste of Arlington returns this month

The Taste of Arlington will be returning to the Ballston area next weekend.

The event, which annually draws approximately 15,000 visitors to the area, is presented by the Ballston Business Improvement District. It will feature a beer and wine garden for those 21+, musical entertainment from bands such as Junk Food and Silent Critics, 12 or more artisans selling their wares, and Bark Park for dogs.

Children’s activities will include games, face painting, and inflatables provided by the Washington Capitols and Wizards. Of course, there will be plenty of food samples to be had from 40 local restaurants. There will no doubt be some activity or another to appeal to everyone in the family.

Sponsors are allowed to take part in activities held in the VIP Pavilion. It is partly presented by the Arlington Chamber of Commerce Board and guests will be treated to free champagne and hors d’oeuvres.

Many of the artists who are planning to sell their works during Taste of Arlington will no doubt be investing in services from local print companies to prepare. This might include ordering postcards to be used as large format business cards. Many artists provide their customers with postcards which feature an illustration of their artwork on the front and their contact information on the rear.

The Taste of Arlington will take place in Ballston on May 19 from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Taste ticket booklets are available for $30 each and this entitles the visitor to food, beer, and wine samples.
