Home show will get people yearning for spring

The 8th annual Arlington Home Show and Garden Expo is returning to the city this weekend.

The show is expected to feature more than 80 vendors who will be selling products and/or services and providing advice to those who ask. There are also set to be free classes and workshops with topics such as ‘Seed starting for beginners’, ‘Urban agriculture (local food production)’ and ‘Organic lawn care’.

The Appraisal Road Show will also be holding two sessions during the day to appraise antiques and other items. In addition, the Arlington County Government will be hosting an ‘Ask an expert’ booth and likely providing printed information to those want to take their advice home for their perusal.

There should be a lot of information provided here that will get people thinking of and planning their gardens for the next season; as well as advice for those looking to fix up their homes. Arlington printing companies are often asked to help the organizers of such shows advertise in the community. This can involve the purchase of posters, signs, and flyers to help spread the word.

The Arlington Home Show and Garden Expo will take place at the Thomas Jefferson Community Center on March 8 from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. To find out more of the show and to find out who is exhibiting, visit the official event website.
